Gestolove Tablets

Progesterone Soft Gelatin Capsules.

Gestolove is a natural female hormone (a progestogen) that plays crucial roles in the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and maintaining the uterine lining. The soft gelatin formulation allows oral administration.

How Does It Work?

Gestolove is a natural female hormone that helps prepare the uterus for pregnancy and maintain it. The soft gelatin form ensures better absorption in the body.

After oral intake, progesterone is quickly absorbed, with peak blood levels usually reached within 1 to 3 hours. The absorption rate can vary depending on the dose and whether it is taken with food. Once in the bloodstream, progesterone is largely bound to plasma proteins such as albumin and transcortin. It is then metabolized in the liver into various compounds (like pregnanediols), which are eventually eliminated through urine and bile. Because of the first-pass effect in the liver, the oral bioavailability of progesterone is relatively low. However, taking it with food, especially a fatty meal, can enhance absorption in certain formulations.

Gestolove Soft Gelatin Capsules has several clinical uses:
