Estramed Tablets

Estradiol Valerate Tablets.

Estramed is an estrogen hormone replacement tablet used to treat estrogen deficiency, manage menopausal symptoms, support bone health, and prepare the uterus in fertility treatments.

How Does It Work?

Estradiol Valerate is a synthetic form of estradiol, the primary female sex hormone (estrogen). Once ingested, it is converted into natural estradiol in the body. It works by:

  • Restoring estrogen levels in women with low or absent natural estrogen.

  • Regulating the menstrual cycle and controlling menopausal symptoms.

  • Maintaining bone strength and reducing the risk of osteoporosis.

  • Supporting fertility treatments by preparing the uterine lining for implantation.

  • Relieves Menopausal Symptoms: Helps reduce hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, and mood swings.

  • Supports Bone Health: Prevents bone thinning and reduces the risk of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.

  • Restores Hormonal Balance: Useful in women with estrogen deficiency due to ovarian failure or surgical menopause.

  • Aids Fertility Treatments: Prepares the endometrium for embryo implantation in assisted reproductive techniques.

  • Protects Urogenital Health: Improves vaginal health and reduces urinary discomfort linked with low estrogen.

  • Gastrointestinal Issues: May cause nausea, abdominal discomfort, bloating, or indigestion.

  • Neurological Effects: Headache, migraine, or dizziness may occur.

  • Breast & Reproductive Effects: Breast tenderness, breakthrough bleeding, or spotting.

  • Mood Changes: Irritability, mood swings, or mild depression.

  • Fluid Retention: Can cause swelling in ankles, weight gain, or water retention.

  • Skin Reactions: Rash, itching, or pigmentation changes in rare cases.

  • Allergy: Avoid if allergic to estradiol valerate or any tablet ingredients.

  • History of Cancer: Not recommended in women with breast or endometrial cancer.

  • Blood Clots & Heart Disease: Use with caution if you have a history of clotting disorders, stroke, or heart disease.

  • Liver Disorders: Avoid in cases of severe liver disease or unexplained jaundice.
